Genuine Zebra® Printhead

Printheads for label printers are wearing parts. The thermal head is in direct contact with the passing label or transfer ribbon, which causes continuous abrasion. Once print results become faint or contain gaps, the printhead needs to be replaced. This can be done effortlessly with every Zebra printer and is absolutely cost-effective, as the printer lasts many times longer than a single printhead.

For every Zebra label printer there is the right original Zebra printhead. Please remember to order parts according to printer type and printing technology (thermal direct or thermal transfer), as well as the resolution (dpi). Some printers are available in versions for up to three resolutions (203, 300, 600dpi).

After changing the printhead it needs to be adjusted first. This guarantees evenly produced black prints and a long service life of the new thermal line, which otherwise would wear off or be damaged easily if improperly installed.
